Özet

In this paper, sliding mode control (SMC) methodology is developed for control of the switching frequency for a DC/AC inverter. The Sliding mode control design for three phase load is formulated in terms of switching devices of the power converter. The main obstacle for application of the sliding mode control is called chattering and the amplitude of chattering can be reduced by increasing switching frequency. However, it should not exceed some certain value. Otherwise, it causes non-admissible heat losses in the power converters. The two problems are handled in this paper. The first one is minimizing the switching frequency for a given hysteresis loop of switching devices. The second problem is minimizing the hysteresis loop such that switching frequency does not exceed the admissible value, which would let us improve the accuracy of the system.
