Özet

Bioclimatic comfort is the climate condition in which a person feels healthy and dynamic and the harmony he provides to his environment with the least energy. In the literature, all of the comfort assessment criteria are based on the thermal physiological balance of the human body. Heat balance is an important component of outdoor comfort. It affects the thermal feeling of outdoor comfort. However, this approach has proven to be absolutely insufficient to define external comfort criteria. Psychological adjustment is an equally important variable. Criteria that affect people’s psychological adjustment should be integrated into any outdoor comfort assessment method. In this study, the relationship between bioclimatic comfort analysis and landscape planning studies was examined. In addition, the necessity of adding quantitative data to the analysis of bioclimatic comfort, which is qualitatively evaluated in almost all sources, has been revealed.
