Özet

The use of different mortar mixtures without material analysis in the restoration of historical artifacts damages the originality of the existing material. There is no standard or determined mixing ratio of the khorasan mortar, which is frequently used in our historical works. For this reason, a solution to the deficiency in the field has been tried to be found with this research, which includes various mixing ratios for khorasan mortar. In this study, a total of 405 mortar samples were produced from 45 different mixtures of khorasan mortar. Brick fracture, natural sand, hydraulic lime and water are used in mixtures of khorasan mortar. Determination of consistency test was performed on fresh mortar samples. Unit weight, ultrasound transit time, flexural and compressive strength tests were performed on the samples of 28, 240 and 365 days of mortar. Based on the data obtained as a result of the experiments, the best mixture ratios in the study in terms of strength were determined.
